Convert PNG to JPEG
Upload a PNG and download a JPEG. Transparent areas become white.
PNG or JPEG?
PNG is lossless and supports transparency, which suits logos, screenshots, and line art. JPEG is lossy but much smaller for photos. A quality setting around 80 to 90 is usually hard to tell apart from the original, while still cutting file size by half or more.
This tool decodes your PNG in memory, flattens any transparent areas onto a white background (JPEG has no alpha channel), and re-encodes it as a JPEG at the quality you choose above. Nothing is written to disk on our end, and the file is discarded as soon as your download completes.
It's a good fit for photos that were exported as PNG, large screenshots you want to email or upload somewhere with a size limit, or any image where a smaller file matters more than keeping a transparent background.
